These Uzbek lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students who have a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Uzbek—required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population—students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, Uzbek-culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular Uzbek examination. These Uzbek Lessons are intended for people who really need to learn Uzbek to help make that difference in their work. For beginners, it will be useful to learn greetings and basic business etiquette; at higher levels, reading and then writing become more important. Typical students include those involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where an additional language is required, and those working with international colleagues, academia and government. Even in our most basic lesson for Beginners, students should expect to end the lesson with basic telephone Uzbek and Uzbek e-mail skills for communication as well as survival Uzbek required for short visits to a country. If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Uzbek, the same goals sought for the language and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Uzbek lessons can also be made available with Two-to-One Uzbek Lessons or Small Group In-Company Uzbek Lessons. Listen & Learn does not generally recommend classes with more than 6-8 people, though Taster lessons in Uzbek can run with up to 12 people. Our native-speaking qualified Uzbek teachers can instruct you and your group at your work or at home at a time most convenient for you. Classes can take place on any day of the week—even weekends—morning, afternoon or evening. If meeting at your office or home is not suitable, you can take your lessons at the trainer's office. Those wishing to learn Uzbek in groups of two or more together (Two-to-One Uzbek Lessons or Small Group In-Company Uzbek Lessons) can sign up for our group classes. All students must be at nearly the same level of Uzbek proficiency, have the same needs from the language and be able to study at the same time and place as the others. Bookings must be made for all students simultaneously. Listen & Learn does not propose group sizes of more than 6-8 people, but In-Company Taster Uzbek Lessons can occur with up to 12 people.
