While all beginner level students will cover survival Tibetan—needed for short visits to countries where English isn't widely spoken, or if you wish to 'go local'—those studying Tibetan usually go in different directions at this point, depending on what they need. Tibetan lessons of this type are aimed towards those that need to learn Tibetan to aid them with their employment. For those just starting out, it is integral to learn basic greetings and business etiquette. Reading and writing can be adopted once the simple precepts are out of the way. Success has come from students who are involved in the import/export business, international negotiations and acquisitions, those seeking jobs in multinational companies and those working with foreign colleagues, academia and bureaucracy. Even our most basic lesson for beginners will have the student finishing the lesson with basic telephone/e-mail skills in Tibetan, as well as survival Tibetan should a short stay in the country is needed. Two or more people can benefit from studying Tibetan together as these Tibetan lessons are also offered to groups (Two-to-One Tibetan Lessons or Small Group In-Company Tibetan Lessons). Every student must have the same degree of knowledge of the language, the same business or language needs and the ability to study at the same time and place as everybody else. The booking has to be made for all students at the same time. You and your group can be trained by our native speaker qualified Tibetan teachers and can meet at your place of work or home at a time that works best for you. Tutorials can take place any day of the week, including weekends, and can be scheduled for the morning, afternoon or evening. If there are two or more of you with the same level of Tibetan, the same targets within the language and are able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Tibetan lessons can also be made available for Two-to-One Tibetan Lessons or Small Group In-Company Tibetan Lessons.
