While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Māori—required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population—students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) Business Māori

These lessons in Māori are meant for those who feel that learning Māori would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. Students who have greatly benefited have been involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where another language is required and those working in the international academia and government circuits. Even in our most fundamental beginner's lesson, students can anticipate ending the lesson with basic telephone Māori and e-mail Māori skills for communicating, as well as survival Māori if a short visit to the country is needed. Listen & Learn does not generally recommend classes with more than 6-8 people, though Taster lessons in Māori can run with up to 12 people. Google Meet or Zoom Online 1-to-1 (Individual) General or Business Māori

Our native-speaking qualified Māori teachers can instruct you and your group at your work or at home at a time most convenient for you. Classes can take place on any day of the week—even weekends—morning, afternoon or evening. If meeting at your office or home is not suitable, you can take your lessons at the trainer's office. The Māori lessons are also available for two or more people studying together (Two-to-One Māori Lessons or Small Group In-Company Māori Lessons).
