Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) General Māori
These lessons in Māori are wide-ranging by nature and are driven towards students who have a variety of differing needs. All beginner students will expect to study enough survival Māori to get them through a short visit to the country. Those who choose to continue with the lessons will progress differently, depending on their individual requests and requirements. Whether you are buying property in a foreign country, married to a foreign national, planning a round-the-world trip, interested in Māori history and culture or if you simply want to attain a particular level of Māori, this is the choice for you. Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) Business Māori
These lessons in Māori are meant for those who feel that learning Māori would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. Students who have greatly benefited have been involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where another language is required and those working in the international academia and government circuits. Even in our most fundamental beginner's lesson, students can anticipate ending the lesson with basic telephone Māori and e-mail Māori skills for communicating, as well as survival Māori if a short visit to the country is needed. Face-to-Face Closed (Private) Group General or Business Māori
If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Māori, the same goals sought for the language and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Māori lessons can also be made available with Two-to-One Māori Lessons or Small Group In-Company Māori Lessons. Listen & Learn does not generally recommend classes with more than 6-8 people, though Taster lessons in Māori can run with up to 12 people. Skype, Google Meet or Zoom Online 1-to-1 (Individual) General or Business Māori
Our native speaker qualified Māori language teachers can train you and your colleagues at your office or home at a time to suit you. Classes can be any day of the week (even weekends) in the morning, afternoon or evening. In certain circumstances, if your home or office is not available, you can take your classes at the trainer's office. Course books are provided. Enquire now about our Māori Courses.
Skype, Google Meet or Zoom Online Group (Closed or Open) General or Business Māori
Those wishing to learn Māori in groups of two or more together (Two-to-One Māori Lessons or Small Group In-Company Māori Lessons) can sign up for our group classes. All students must be at nearly the same level of Māori proficiency, have the same needs from the language and be able to study at the same time and place as the others. Bookings must be made for all students simultaneously. Listen & Learn does not propose group sizes of more than 6-8 people, but In-Company Taster Māori Lessons can occur with up to 12 people.
