These Lingala lessons are more general in nature and are targeted at students who have a whole range of different needs. While all beginners level students can expect to cover Survival Lingala—required for short visits to a country where English may not be spoken and/or the intention is to make good contacts with the local population—students then generally progress in different directions depending on their needs. Typical students include those buying property overseas, spouses of overseas nationals, people about to set off on that long-awaited world trip, Lingala-culture enthusiasts and those who are keen to pass a particular Lingala examination. Face-to-Face 1-to-1 (Individual) Business Lingala
These lessons in Lingala are meant for those who feel that learning Lingala would make a change in their work. For starters, it is expedient to learn how to say hello/goodbye, as well as basic business protocol; once the basics have been mastered, reading and writing come to the fore. Students who have greatly benefited have been involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational companies where another language is required and those working in the international academia and government circuits. Even in our most fundamental beginner's lesson, students can anticipate ending the lesson with basic telephone Lingala and e-mail Lingala skills for communicating, as well as survival Lingala if a short visit to the country is needed. Face-to-Face Closed (Private) Group General or Business Lingala
If there are 2 or more of you with the same level of Lingala, the same goals sought for the language and be able to study at the same time and location, then you'll be happy to know that these Lingala lessons can also be made available with Two-to-One Lingala Lessons or Small Group In-Company Lingala Lessons. Listen & Learn does not generally recommend classes with more than 6-8 people, though Taster lessons in Lingala can run with up to 12 people. Skype, Google Meet or Zoom Online 1-to-1 (Individual) General or Business Lingala
You and your group can be trained by our native speaker qualified Lingala teachers and can meet at your place of work or home at a time that works best for you. Tutorials can take place any day of the week, including weekends, and can be scheduled for the morning, afternoon or evening. Skype, Google Meet or Zoom Online Group (Closed or Open) General or Business Lingala
Two or more people can benefit studying Lingala together as these Lingala lessons are also offered to groups (Two-to-One Lingala Lessons or Small Group In-Company Lingala Lessons). Every student must have the same degree of knowledge of the language, the same business or language needs and the ability to study at the same time and place as everybody else. The booking has to be made for all students simultaneously.
