DeutschAkademie is perfect for those wanting to focus on grammar and particularly helpful for German students who want to brush up and get back into the swing of speaking German. The app offers more than 22,000 grammar and vocabulary exercises, and over 800 hours of interactive online learning. What’s not to like about that? The app is designed by German teachers and is intended to challenge you, while still making it fun.
The app is structured using the European Framework for Languages (meaning that it covers levels A1-C2) and even offers an interactive forum where German teachers will answer your questions. This is a particularly handy tool if you want to accompany the app with a German class that you’re taking: you can easily match your class level to a learning level within the DeutschAkademie app.
A unique feature of DeutschAkademie is that the whole app is structured in the German language, providing an immersion atmosphere where you won’t be able to rely on your English. Instead, you’ll learn how to interact with the German interface, learning new words and phrases in the process. As such, it’s a great app for intermediate learners and higher.
